Baked Beans
You Will Need:
3 - 28 oz. cans of baked beans, your favorite brand
3-6 slices of bacon, diced
1 medium sized onion, diced
1 small bell pepper, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP mustard
2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
Preheat your oven to 375.
Start by browning your diced bacon in a large skillet. Once they’re all brown, put them onto a paper towel using a slotted spoon to allow them to drain. Keeping your bacon grease hot—add in your onion, garlic and bell pepper. Cook them until translucent and tender. Now add in all of the remaining ingredients into your skillet with your veggies and stir it all together well. Give it a taste and see if it needs anything else.
Now spray a large casserole dish or disposable aluminum pan. Pour your beans into the pan and spread evenly. Top with your cooked bacon bits and wrap tightly with foil. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly, then take off your foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until nice and crispy on the top. Enjoy!
